Its pretty much Search And Destroy so there is 2 teams (blue and green obviously) and to start off green is defending and blue is attacking so blue has to plant the bomb at either A or B Bomb sites, and green has to stop them from doing so. there is 4 minutes in 1 round and it is first to 8 (you can choose how many rounds you want though) so at half time which would be after the 4th Round It switches over so that Blue Defends And Green Attacks. if the game time ends the people Defending Win the round.you have 1 life each round so if you die you dont respawn until Either Blue or Green wins the round.

how about missions? missions alow you to unlock new wepons. like pre built towns with npc's. competing a mission alouse you to have a new gun if you select it on start. (must be logged in on ace of spades to do a mission). that would make it more fair

What about a pointmatch, where the players have to find the intel and hold it as long as they can. The first dude, who carries the intel for amount of time which has been set by server owned, wins. In this mode, the carrier wouldn't have spade or pickaxe, so the he couldn't just dig himself into cover, till he wins. Also, he would be visible in the map. What do you think?

Few game-mode ideas.
1.The 'normal' CTF, which is in use now. Server maker can decide, what is the win limit of caps.

2.Showdown. It could have a better name, but in this mode there could be five intels in both teams, and they wouldn't 'respawn' when once capped. The team who first captures all the intels, wins.

3.Deatchmatch. As I've heard, some people are truly against it. Well, why the hell? This could be really fun fun fun, should have a bit flatter map than usually, and one extra weapon: Machine gun.

In all these modes, there would be a time limit, setable, which when filled gives the victory to the player/team, who has most points. Enjoy discussing.

Give each team a number of reinforcements. Once the number reaches zero, that team loses. The number could go down at a slow, but constant rate to prevent turtling.

Hell, you could do that on top of the regular CTF mode, and just ignore the flag. If you decide to cap, it would reduce the enemy reinforcements by 10, along with showing their locations on your map for a minute.

The Dev has already confired that new game modes are coming; I think the suggestions thread has several idea mentiond. I agree with the KotH game mode, though it would inevitably result in the "hill" being a smouldering mound by the end of the game.

I love the game, but I think it could use a little more variety. I'm not too fond of CTF, and I think the game could appeal to another group of people by just taking the flags out of the equation. Instead, you have the two teams spawn on either side of the map with just a very basic fort and then the rest of the game is up to them. I think we'd see a lot more creativity in the game if it were about the two teams vying for control of the map. Instead of the action taking place over one tunnel and mountain (as is usually the case right now), teams would formulate their own objectives and goals and build more freely.

Discuss.
