HOW DO YOU INSTALL A MOD?!
INSTALL A MOD AND READ THE README

Download the file (.kv6/.png).
Go to your Ace of Spades Directory.
Go into your kv6 folder for a .kv6 mod or your png folder for an ironsight mod.
If asked to overwrite select yes.

semi.png = rifle ironsight
smg.png - smg ironsight
shotgun.png = shotgun ironsight
semi.kv6 = rifle model
smg.kv6 = smg model
shotgun.kv6 = shotgun model

How do you install a mod?

so can i install it on another comp (comp 2), copy the files from comp 2 onto usb and replace them with the ones i have on comp 1? (i dont have admin rights =P)

0.58 is the recent uptate, and you have to install it, it will replace the 0.54 file, but there is other options, I just can't remember them off the top of my head :P

No you don't. Each install holds the full thing. They're not like patches. It doesn't matter if you skip from .33 to .58

What I've been noticing is a that a lot of people have been trying to download from the home page, under the "About" tab. That just gets you the .52 installer. The installer to the .54 is under the "Play" tab and the mirrors are posted under the News.

So does it seem like that may have been the problem? Just want to make sure in case any others experience this problem and need a solution.

Well, i modded the crouched torso to show it from a nice distance. That shown up the message. Now, to getting this thread down; i got it all fixed already.

Spadille wouldn't cause something like that. Chances are you are attempting to use a mod that the game "blocks" such as a modified player head or something. Certain KV6 files are not allowed to be modified in certain ways, and if so that message is displayed.

I solved it.
After eating my breakfast, i came to a thought to just DOWNLOAD the .50. It worked.
Now we need an admin to delete this topic. (or else....... jk)

1. Registry cleaner? Never have used one.
2. I am already on my only account on my computer. With the admin privileges.
3. Tried it on Desktop, still fucks up. Seems like i actually need a .50 installer, because it wants to uninstall the previous version.

Try a directory like the desktop or your documents (if you haven't already). Also, where are you trying to install Ace of Spades? By default it is %SYSTEMDRIVE%/Ace of Spades. Also make sure you are running the installer as administrator. It could possibly be part of a bigger issue, such as the result of some registry "cleaner" or a damaged installation database.

Tried it with that useless, stupid and shitty-looking Chrome, and made Spadille's folder a nice cozy home for it. Exactly the same result.

Hmm, try downloading it with a different browser and saving it in a different location such as the desktop. I don't use Opera personally and I don't really see how/why that should be an issue, but you never know.

It shouldn't have anything to do with Spadille, although I would advise closing Spadille when installing Ace of Spades for good measure.

Download mod there.
Install.
