NO PAYING FOR FEATURES! That would completely ruin this!

I'd say the only way that might help is to..
Pay for an account (access new features?)..
Or just a better votekicking UI - an actual info box + hotkey 'f11'/'f12' system.

Moderators ingame hmm.. I think that if there was some kind of remote administration program for all servers (akin to baka admin for Soldat), then it would become much easier for server owners to sit back, and recruit people to admin from wherever at anytime.

I agree with ReubenMcHawk, there will always be griefers and we can't do anything about it. If we add mods all it would do is just decrease the amount of griefers, not get rid of them entirely. Besides they will just get clever with griefing as well, as someone mentioned earlier.

Why is it so hard to just ignore griefers? If your building something and it's getting griefed, just go let off some steam by shooting some enemies instead of going "FUK U GRUHUIRUFFER /VOTEKICK ERRYONE PRESS /Y NOW PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ"

all you need to do is a few things

start getting more mods

give them the ability to ban for 24 hours a griefer

do not allow them to ban people on the other team

mods auto drop into a team without a mod, so unless there is only one mod playing each team will get almost equal amounts of coverage

the maps that need mods the most are the pinnacle ones, all it is is griefing at this point

The only thing that could sorta fix it is charging,say, 5 bucks for the game, but that didn't stop people from buying Minecraft to grief...

I agree we need mods! Vote kicking doesnt really help, they can just join again if im not mistaken. I might have only been playing this for 2 or 3 days, but I love this game. If we get mods, they wont be around utill this get more popular. Untill then, try to deal with trolls and griefers, use votekick, and tryi to explain to new players what to do and what not to do.

mods just do banning and muting because admins are almost never on
thats why we need it
also i hear stories here about people getting votekicked
but when i play it almost never happens

Hm. The most clever one I can think of is, if it's on a hill, clear out any kind of excess blocks that bind the frame and the ground together, then tunnel around under the base right on the borders of it. With no blocks touching the bottom layer, it should collapse. For added sneakiness, set up a grenade to destroy the last block, and switch weapons, making it even more difficult for the mod to ID you.

And TWiiST3D, that's a good idea in theory, but then blockspammers come into the equation. Like I said, there's no way to deal with it without hurting the game even more. Even the teamkilling solution now has exploits, sometimes I just go on a server to shoot anyone who breaks any type of block.

@TBH_TWiiSt3D_x, then people will start puttin blocks everywhere and you wont be able to destroy them

easy fix only you can break your blocks and the other team + you can give permission to sort on people do break your blocks

Griefers always have, and always will be a part of this game. If there were a mod in a fort, I could literally think of about 5 ways off the top of my head to break it without them knowing.

^ no because every one is to lazy to do it and you need so many people to remove them from game plus at that point they have already destroyed your stuff...

random griefers are ruining the gameplay, you have to pay more attention to your team destroying forts than the enemy.
