Well hello. This is my modpack. It includes some weapons and some wav files. Otherwise everything is made by me exept the g43 scope (because i was lazy :D). The models that include hands look bit stupid and some of the iron sights as well, but i hope that they works out nicely.

if you refer to a swastika as a ancient greek symbol in the chat in game pepole get offened. but i was trying to say that the swastika was originally used by the greeks before hitler took it in WW2. the point is i got permabaned for this.i just wanted to see your thoughts on the subject.

Every time I try join join a server I get this pop-up saying "Invalid game file." Does anyone know how to fix this. I've tried reinstalling like 20 times nothings working.
Please help me.

Consider it for a moment- you spawn with an SMG and then get sniped from afar. You spawn with the rifle, and someone pops up in front of you and SMGs your face off. By forcing a weapon decision before spawn, not only are you limiting the play options that a player can take, but you're rendering them impotent in half the battle situations they're likely to encounter.

I'm all for versatility. Variety. Choice. So when I get sniped by a rifleman my SMG hasn't a hope of hitting, who's fault is it? Am I supposed to concede that I should have seen him coming before I even spawned, and chosen otherwise? Supposing I had a rifle and killed him, and then the next minute found myself in a situation perfect for the SMG? What then?

bad form, Beret, didn't you realise you're supposed to kill yourself in between every task you set yourself?

Well I've seen the extent to which this class system limits player options and I don't think it's helping anyone.

Let's imagine for a moment that both the SMG and the rifle are in everybody's kit. Level playing field. Equal opportunity fighting, victory through strategy and skill and all that nonsense.

Anyway, it's the same scenario: you come up against the rifleman first. You have your rifle ready. Why? because it's a wide open space, and you know what tool you need for the job. Bang, down he goes. But then your intel is taken, and you're on the surface between where it was and the enemy base, so you know the enemy tunneled in to get your intel. A quick switch to the SMG later and you're drilling a hole downwards into the enemy tunnel. There's the intel runner, sprinting off down the passage. Switch to rifle, blam. Down he goes.

This sort of versatility and ability to adapt to a changing situation is only a pipe-dream for the current game, and will ALWAYS be nothing but that as long as there are classes. Without classes, however, any death you have is not because of luck or some arbirtary roll of the dice, but YOUR fault, and yours alone. Your skill and situational awareness now means everything, and you are effectively the master of your own fate. You see a rifleman, and you can cover his back with an SMG because you know you've got one. Trying to sneak into the enemy base for some close quarters fighting, but spotted by a sniper? You can dive into cover and return rifle fire because you know you've got one. When future weapons are introduced, you can try them out all you want while still having your favourite weapon handy just in case, because-you-know-you've-got-one.

You see what I'm getting at here?

Though it seems stupid to make a thread for this I hope it will work as a general respons. No RPGs, they're cool in any other game, but not in a game with fully desructible maps...

Now before you start whining and complaining about what I do please take into account the following:
I am mixed (half-cast)
Don't get angry at me for what I do, i only do it a weekends because I get bored.

Ok back to the point.
Racsism. It's a huge problem on AoS, I find it really confusing because you look at things like RS, WoW, CS2D etc and you don't get people spamming the N-word because they think it sounds cool or whatever. I hate racsism. And yet you persist and think it's only a word, it cannot hurt anyone, A word can change a nation (or a sentence that contains that word). Racisism turns brothers against brothers, sisters against sisters, I don't want to play a game where in the future racism rules the chatbox. I don't mind swearing too much (although it is vulgar and disgusting) but racism is ALOT worse. I go on a server and there are a bunch of racist idiots, It makes me sick. So sick that I feel like quitting the server I'm on or heck getting rid of AoS to play something different with better people.

Let me make another strong point here, please don't get mad at me it was a one-off because I wanted to see what the fuss was about. Some of you may have heard of the player called nothing, that player... is me.
Don't exit this post just because a hacker is making a point ( I do have skills, I just got bored :3), there is something that completly makes no sense, why the hell do hackers get kicked and rasists don't?
People just roll along and let the racists stay, but when theres a hacker(s) they like "ZOMG he must get kicked!"
Hacking may ruin the game, but rasism ruins it ALOT more.

Now is a good time to reflect on the words of Martin Luther King Jr or Nelson Mandela, they were people who saw that blacks, whites and half-casts can live in peace. Why is there conflict? Why can't AoS have a non-racist community?

You may mock and laugh at me, but know this: I will not stop. I will NEVER stop untill racism is wiped off AoS.

Let me also make clear: I love AoS, it's a fun game when there are not racist playing, my cousin introduced me to it and i got obbsesed, don't let this great game get ruined.

I have a dream, that AoS can be non-racist. Don't ban me for making a point, don't remove this post for making a point.
