Yeah well, until we get clans as an actual ingame feature, they're 100% pointless and I consider clan threads as basically spam, or at the best, off-topic, as they don't relate to gameplay anymore than the fact that the "members" play the game together.

Well, they're also going to have a "Clan" section on here, sadly. And we won't be able to filter it from the main page unless we get a custom userscript for this website to do it. So in the end, it's still going to spam up the forums.

The day that the Clanbase goes public will be the most important thing to happen to the AoS community since the 0.54 update (or the 0.53 leak if you're impatient like me). Not because clans are significant contributors to the community (since most of them aren't anything of the sort), but because we'll be able to get every single clan thread here in the forums deleted.

hmm most of my members always play on aloha servers like in blue team or sometime green when I make them XD

@cole7771 if you want more clan members, go on a build server or something. The people in my clan all met on a build server, they had no idea clans existed in ace of spades.

StackOverflow and some other people are creating a website called ClanBase that will basically be the rally point and conversation area for clans. Each clan will have their own page where their members can talk and stuff like that. I barely know the basics, maybe Stack can come in here and tell us how awesome it will be.

Um Clans symbolize a thing of Power so I am guessing that people want to be more powerful? I made this Clan Just because I thought I would enjoy it and I do. It gives me something to do. I am really actually working on communications with other clans. Just to make it more interesting and to get the clan out there and stuff. I have like maybe 5 members....I know I need more but it's hard to find members. But anyways I am guessing they think it would be fun or a some people made a clan for private use then they made it into a public clan because people kept asking to join...And Griefers started the clans. I'll just say that.

Yeah, but it's a bit misplaced. I think some people typed in the wrong web address... I'm sure they meant to post all that stuff in forums for Call of Duty.

Hopefully they'll realize their error and get back in the proper forums.

Why'd about a dozen clan topics spring up all of a sudden today? Aren't there seperate forums for clan stuff?
