Some of you have seen my protected freebuild server "-----Jeff's Freebuild-----
Well I have one question. The past time hosting that server... I got a lot of people asking for god and stuff like that, but the people I trust... I have to constantly god them for them to build. I looked through Pyspades config and saw that there was a "Trusted" Login, I was like COOL, I tried it out... couldn't login as Trusted user...
So I thought is their a different command I could use such as /trusted password to login or am I missing something?

---------------EDIT-----------------------------------------------------------
Fixed problem...
There where no quotations around the password in the config... once i put them their...
/login "password" worked like a charm

One of my favorite games is Battlefield 1943. it only has 3 classes, and 3 vehicles (4 if you count the boat) and i enjoy it more then any MW or other battlefield game.

Totally agree as well. No to classes, no to stats or sprinting or nerfing the hip firing or any of that other bogus rubbish. Keep it simple and great.

Hell if there was an option where you could zoom in without even being forced to use ironsights it'd be damn near perfect

I agree with everything said by OP. I think the only way a map could get reset is via admin decision... A big part of the game is building massive castles, yet when everything is leveled and destroyed, fighting on a wasteland made of entirely manmade crappy barricades is AWESOME! I've been on completely flat servers with scores of 335 to 647, and I love it, and still every time the intel is captured everybody cheers.

Yes, very much agreed, with.

If anything is to be added, it must apply to everyone.

Also, how about introducing a vote to respawn the map?

So if it get's stale, everyone votes for a fresh slate.

Good?

Though you may have a point, I must disagree with rounds.

Ongoing war, yes, but when the map is entirely destroyed to the lowest level?
An empty level with a few structures is actually fun, but then you get people drawing shit and spelling things.

It get's stale after a while.

At some point, the map needs to regenerate, is all.

I know it's been brought up. I see people getting raging boners for adding features like classes and vehicles and stuff. The beauty of this game is that every player is on equal footing.

You only have your skill and your wit to credit for victory. Any feature that takes that aspect away from this game will kill the whole reason this game is gaining SO MUCH grass roots support. It flies in the face of all these commercial FPS shooters that are so generic and frustrating. Even the fact there are no "rounds" is part of why this game is so awesome. It's an on going war. Something the game design you chose has allowed for where no other FPS can. a Sandbox war game. It's completely new.

My advice to the developers is to make it balanced, make it simple and make it fun. Focus on what works and be very weary of adding too much to the formula you guys have got. It's working and too many bells and whistles will make this feel like an inferior minecraft clone of commercially available FPS games. Beware of classes, perks, bonuses, level ups, too many weapons, and too much variation between players.

Right now, it's one of the greatest FPS games out and 90% of players have NO IDEA why it's so fun. It really boils down to simple and balanced.
