Hey all. :D

So something happened to me just about a half hour ago... :( I was just playing on that new Cougar map in a server, and this guy called MechaTrickster comes along. I was right behind him and headshotted him 3 times, but none of them worked because of lag. So he turns around and headshots me easily, and I start saying things like "Wow, that was kinda unfair!" Then he started trolling me and saying bad and untrue things about me. The whole time I was defending myself with the help of a few teammates, he kept trying to kick me too. Luckily, we were all smart and he got himself kicked in the process. So basically, he's holding a grudge on me from now and into the future.

Then I decided to move to a Pinpoint server later. Everything was okay for a bit, but then MechaTrickster came again. For about 30 minutes he tried to troll, lie about, and kick me, using a bunch of mean and awful tricks to try and kick me. I kept showing and explaining to everybody that I wasn't doing anything that MechaTrickster was trying to kick me for (most included somewhat crude words I wouldn't like to say...) Luckily a few truthful people knew that he was kicking me falsely, and I was okay.

Here's what happened though:

A server Admin, [ORS]Mariokilleru came in and logged in as an Admin. I tried to explain to him/her all of what MechaTrickster had done, but he was lying to Mariokilleru and trying to tell him that I was doing all of those things that he accused me of earlier when I hadn't done any of it. Every time I tried to tell Mariokilleru about what had happened, MechaTrickster had lied to try to get Mariokilleru to believe him instead. For example, when I explained that it had been going on for 30 minutes, MechaTrickster lied and said he had only been on for 5 minutes when he was actually on for 6 times that time.

Here's what happened basically after that:

I lagged out and disconnected after that, so I rejoined the server. When I came back to see if Mariokilleru followed through for me, he did in the end and kicked MechaTrickster (I think so at least). But what Mariokilleru said to me:

"Trolls don't go unprovoked."

And he kicked me too.

Basically I've just been passing the time writing this... XD But anyways, that's not the point. The point is that this is just one example of how people who grief, troll, and lie aren't dealt with well enough. Honestly, I'm suprised nobody else tried to help me kick him. But of anything, I think that if we had better Admins who could do their job better (Mariokilleru isn't a bad Admin I'm saying, but I mean he didn't let me explain the whole story to him... :( ). If we had a better "community" of people who would watch and protect good players from the bad ones, it would be a lot better. Does anyone agree with me?

I was playing on Pinpoint earlier, when I decided to build a swastika. Now I know what you're all thinking, but the swastika is a symbol used in Buddhism for peace and good luck, which I explained several times in chat.

Yet still, I had players like A_Gun, yourself., and Coelacanth coming up and destroying my structure, and placing random blocks over it. I tried to tell them to quit, but they kept arguing that I was a "stupid Nazi". I tried to votekick them for griefing, but no one would, they even argued that I was griefing by building it.

They insistently demanded that I'm a Nazi, despite having to proof, and they said that I was a terrible person. I then asked if I destroyed someone's cross, if I would get kicked, and most claimed it would upset them.

So what is it about me and my beliefs that they all hate? And why is it that when I get griefed, no one ever cares?

Yes, yes, I know, this has been mentioned several times before, but after checking the search I couldn't really find a thread specifically adrressing free, email-based registration. In the hopes of making sure Ben has seen these ideas, here goes:

Many people have presented the idea that playing AoS should require registering with an email account. Not only is it intended as a griefer and hacker prevention system, it would also thoroughly kill the mild imposter problem the AoS community is having. Server admins would be able to permenantly ban both the IP and the account of problem children, requiring them to restart their modem and obtain a new email account to rejoin.

Coupled with streamlined votekicking systems (with associated tempbans, permbans should never be handed out by troll-exectuable votekicks) this could cause griefers, trolls, and hackers to use five to ten minutes getting a new IP and account for one or two minutes of gameplay... chances are, after a few tries they'll decide it isn't worth the time to cause the AoS community distress.

As a bit of icing on the cake, registered accounts would allow for recordable statistics, such as total kills, total deaths, longest-range hit, longest killstreak, and other fun stuff. This wouldn't have any effect on in-game privileges, but it would be nice to be able to brag (and prove to people that when you complain about a foghacker that you're not some n00b who can't stand losing, but an experienced player who might just have an idea what you're talking about). Furthermore, it could keep track of how many times you'd been kicked, banned, and/or votekicked, and for what reasons. This would streamline removal of hackers, trolls, and griefers from servers.

hey guys all i wanted to say in this post was this
if u dont know i own the Urban Warfare map with the bridge, sniper, towers and blown up scenery, now there are ways for you guys to download my map but i would ask you not to please. what i dont want is ppl getting my map and then everyone start hosting it and people start claiming its theres. however i will release it one day when some bugs are fixed but for now id appreciate if you would not take what is mine.
this being said i would like this also to be a post about getting some testers and modders for my map. basically you have to know how to operate slab6 and voxel editor well. then you and i would talk over what we need to make next and we will work on it, you will also recieve credit for the map if you are one of the modders. if you are interested plz leave a comment below.
