You "anti-builder" guys see everything from such a selfish point of view. When I join a game of AoS, I love to find wherever the front lines are and build medium size walls and small forts. I get joy from playing a video game the way I want to. Who the hell are YOU to take that away from ME? I love to play on the Pinpoint map and do nothing but fight, but after a while, I enjoy exploring what makes the game different from every other FPS out there. The building.

And us builders never bitch like babies when you guys use our buildings for cover, then never lift a finger to repair it when it's only being held up by a few blocks.

Who the fuck cares if you win or lose? It's a video game. Let people have fun with it rather than being a fucking nazi.

When there's half of your team building their own little things in the corner or whatever, it can be pretty hard guarding the intel. If you're gonna build, why can't you build intel towers? That would actually be useful.

The thing is, artificialbox, unlike Minecraft, this game has a clear objective: Capture their intel, and don't let yours be captured. When people on your team are just building their stupid little castles, they're not helping the team at all. If they want a free building simulator, there's Minecraft Creative! It even has trees and sponges and shit!

When it prevents autism and griefing, the two biggest problems of AoS, nothing bad can come out of it. Really!

in case you guys forgot, building useless shit isnt a win condition. you are supposed to capture the flag ffs.

People that build useful defensive structures shouldn't be kicked. One of my favorite tactics, playing as blue on a vanilla map, is to make a bunch of foxholes and bunkers overlooking the river. Every now and then I stop tunneling and building to shoot at people for a while, before sealing off the openings again and going back to building. I net a lot of kills that way, and I've single-handedly taken out mid-size would-be raiding parties before they can get into the hills and cause trouble. I try to keep my buildings as useful to the team as possible (although sometimes with large structures I'll make a totally useless "1337101" in the wall as a signature).

If People want to build a defenseive postion or a trench thats fine Nothing fancy though. maybe if we had Planes you would have to make a runway but thats about it.

Sometimes, if it's really bad, I'll trap builders in blocks and then destroy their buildings. Especially if it's a building that could only help the enemy and does nothing for us.

Just play the game to have fun and if you lose, it shouldn't upset you at all. In BF2, there were people who loved jets so they constantly stayed back on the carrier or hanger never contributing to the game and only getting a jet once in a while. There were other types of players that never contributed to the team and caused them to lose, but in the end, everyone had fun and if you won, it was just the icing on the cake. Who the fuck DIDN'T enjoy BF2?

Whenever I see that the opposing team wins in AoS, I don't care at all. All I'm concerned about is getting back to the front lines to build small forts. Gonna kick me too?

Exactly.. + Everyone should do whatever they want! And if people don't like what he is doing then kick him! Only griefing is bad.

If you want to build stuff, play minecraft.
If you want to get kills and cap intel, play Battlefield or CoD or Halo or some other FPS

Let everyone else play the game the way it is meant to be played: endless teamkilling and encasing people in blocks.

Plus, minecraft has better mechanics for creativity, what with floating blocks and everything.
