I assure you that this would be easy to implement. Also, block destruction doesn't really occur very often in actual game play, so use as a joke wouldn't be very funny.

this idea would be a complete waste of time to implement, even if it was very easy and didn't take very long. people would abuse it a lot, i think, and most vote kicks are jokes, anyway

Often, a votekick can take a long time to pass. By the time it does pass, the griefer will have most likely destroyed everything. This is why I would like people who are being votekicked unable to destroy blocks. The benefits of this addition outweigh the potential for abuse.
