I agree a decent votekick system could show some promise but there has to be a way to keep the power in the hands of the legit players and attempt to minimize the damage that a better votekick system could wreak in the hands of those who want to abuse it to spoil the game, but thats just my 2 cents.

Sounds good. On the more popular servers it's almost impossible to get someone kicked(afkers, little to no moderation*cough*aloha*cough).

Nah, I could just use a different name. I think I know a little bit about the votekicks though. Instead of disregarding my opinion solely because it's me that said it, you should have evaluated my idea by itself. Do you honestly believe that I'm trying to reverse psychology you into making votekicks easier or something? You're a fool if you think limiting how many votekicks people get per day is a good idea.

Sigh. For realzies, you want to encourage votekicks. They're the only way to kick griefers, hackers, and other abusers. Lots of people in this game are retarded and don't vote or start votes. The people who rightfully start votes shouldn't be limited as to how many they can start because it's not like you only see one griever a day. It's usually that if you dont' kick them, nobody will.

I wouldnt say day, but how about only 4 votekicks per hour?

1 votekick per day is far far far too little. I think we should be encouraging votekicks, not discouraging them.

Its important that everyone votes, because at the moment only around 20-30% of players actaully vote. And its hard as fuck to kick sumone,

^ Just place a block on his head, and when he breaks it, teamkill him. Then just repeat until he ragequits. It's much easier than trying to corner him, and it's worked for me before :D

I found a good way to do it though, is box in the greifer and kill him 4+ times when he removes a block, then iniate the votekick and say hes a greifer. The teamkilling that comes up on everyones screen proves to them that he's atleast destroying blocks, and makes it more believable.

Hell, there would be a bunch of vote kicking noobs with one kick after another, The screen would go dark and freeze every time a vote kick is finished, and wouldn't the people who vote faster get a advantage over the afk people still voting.

I like asdf's idea. Just place the Votekick menu in the center of the screen WRITTEN IN BOLD LETTERS and you can't get it out unless you either vote or the voting ends in 15 secs.

Just a note, there should be a minimum required number of voters to initiate a votekick. How many, I don't know.

Don't know about others, but if I'm *forced* to vote I'm automatically voting for no, unless I know for sure that the vote is for a reason. So yeah, to me it's the same wheather I vote or not and waiting times, freezing screens and box with noises are only making things worse for everyone.

Precisely. What if someone was falsely accused? It's not like everyone is aware of who is griefing and who isn't.

Please explain why it's so important that everyone votes? I never do if I don't know what it's for and can't tell if it's for a reason.

In a CQC moment, the person with quicker reflexes will click Y or N first and win.

make it after you die the screen pops up, and you cant spawn untill you vote. It wouldnt interfer with gun battles/people, but you can play untill then. Idlers wouldbt respawn
