Well I do use those voice chat things like vent but wouldn't it be easier to connect and be put into a voice chat room with all people in the map to be able to hear you? And of course all options would be aloud to turn it off or mute. Besides bandwidth isn't much of a problem, especially with AOS not trying to push your computer to the limit unlike COD or unreal tournament III.

Only way I would support this, is if was made so that the speak volume would be adjusted by the distance of the players so that you could hear people near to you but not from the opposite side of the map. AND you should hear everyone, friends and enemies.

Pointless, It would be one of the first things I would shut off.

I'd rather hear the people in Teamspeak, than random people in game.

@Stack: I think what he meant was something similar to TF2 and CS:S's voice chat system, where you can talk to anyone, even complete strangers. Which is not only easy to coordinate a team, but also to hear Deuces rage over how people are "aimbotting" and other assorted Deucery.

It's pretty much pointless to do so. There are already third-party applications (many of which are free) that can do that. It would just be reinventing the wheel. The time spent recreating something like that could be used for other stuff.

This game could be helped a lot if we have a voice chat enabled. Yes there a lot of issues with this including ping, and spammers but there are plenty of positive aspects of voice chat. This includes: Stronger team work, more communication than some text in the corner, and those who abuse this mic chat can be vote kicked. Please consider this as something for a war type game.
