COD and AOS are the same fucking game. Kill, Die, Kill, Die, Kill, Die...Kill some more, Die a lot more. Build in one, hardcore stat track in the other. WAR GAMES ARE ALL THE SAME BASIC CONCEPT... KILL AND DIE!!!

OT: I like CoD. I like it's gameplay, I like it's cinematic., and I like it's plots. However, AoS is unique in the sense it does not have those things (other than gameplay, but AoS is unique in that area) and for some part stay like that. AoS has a unique gameplay and I think that is why I mainly play it. The unique gameplay is what makes AoS unique. If we start adding things from all those other games, we are becoming another stereotypical shooter and also attracting a fanbase that would not fit with the one that is used.

Perks and ranks would be terrible for this. CoD is CoD and Aos isnt. It should stay that way.

I do actually kind of like CoD, somewhat. But I really don't think perks would be best for this type of game. I mean, if it's implemented, then I guess it would be fine if balanced properly. But, I'd still prefer to keep AoS a different critter from all of the other games out there, to make it unique. And, speaking of cod, I love seafood.

But seriously, we don't need perks or anything else in this game. I don't hate CoD, I've played every one, and we don't need good players running around with all kinds of perks wrecking lower level people like in CoD.

ok for one no..and two..what we need is a little red number in the bottom right hand corner to tell us how many kills we got that life and when we die it asks if we want to upload to leaderboard....fresh idea and would make this game more battle intensive as more of us want to be seen on the leaderboard

I've all the CoD campaigns and finished 'em. (Sans the console versions and Black Ops)

I've also played CoD 4's Multiplayer and it's fun. (Well, sans my crappy ping.)

Like I said, there could just be small traits. Like for instance, the ability to walk a little faster or reload quicker. Just small things, not things that make a massive difference to gameplay.

Why does anything that have ever existed in the universe needs to be compared to god damn COD. Ya know, COD is not the only game that got perks and shity players (look at AOS: griefers, spamers, trolls, plain assholes, nazis and so on).

I like CoD. I do not like Black Ops.
However I think for perks, at the very least be creative about them.

(sigh) YES it's like COD but think about it, it's a good system. It gives players reasons to play and get better. But somthing like this would have to be MASSIVLEY changed to fit into this game.

I just think that the amount of people who say 'COD IS SHIT I HOPE TREYARCH BLOW UP OMG IT'S SO FUCKING SHIT' who don't know who Infinity Ward are and/or have never played a single other CoD game other than Black Ops and/or don't know that there are other Call of Duty games is amazing.
I think Black Ops is a good game. I hate the multiplayer but the story is one of the best (the Modern Warfare story has been going on for longer so I find it better) and I love the Zombie mode.

I think all the things in the first post are good ideas, but I don't think would quite fit the game. They work well in Call of Duty, but I don't think they would in this. I also think you should get some traits after getting a certain amount of points such as slightly increased health and higher rate of fire, but only marginally so as not to make it unfair. I also agree with a registration system and have constantly asked whether this game is going to become a full .exe. I think the registration should work with the forums so if the game does ever become not free, all of the people who had an account on the forums (most people who play the game) before a certain date get it free for supporting the game during development.

I have played the original COD, COD big red one, cod 4,5,6 and black ops for a few minutes. its not COD we hate, its the people who play(ed) multiplayer and want that shit here
