All of you should know a sniper rifle is nothing but a rifle with a scoop if you want a sniper so badly ask him to add a scope to the rifle boom your all happy.

Fuck both of them. Sidearm is usually useless if you play with decent people.

Problem with the Sniper is that it wouldn't be too much different than the Battle Rifle. The only way the Sniper would work is if the Battle Rifle became an actual battle rifle, used for mainly for mid range. You do that by nerfing the recoil and some stuff.

Problem for a Handgun is that it would be near useless with battles against decent people.

Problem with an Assault Rifle is that you would then need to change the SMG, Rifle, and Shotty because Rifle goes through changes to balance it with the Assault Rifle, SMG changes to a more CQC-something that fits thing, Shotgun changes to a definite CQC.

hmm...that sounds interesting. i WOULD like something akin to an assault rifle. the SMG just doesn't have the range, and the rifle doesn't have enuff dakka (which really helps when some guy sneaks up on you. hard to get a headshot when u have just swung around in a trench)

i would only want one to make the game more balanced, i do not really care about the scope, if i wanted to use one then i probably would have. but you know, maybe it wouldn't be balanced that way. but i mean, obviously nerfing the semi. what the sniper rifle could be is, like the semi now, but maybe 1 bullet per clip, or some type of bolt type thing, then make the new semi a little bit less accurate, and maybe some other things to make the guns different.

so basically, what i am saying is, the sniper rifle would be how the semi is now, with a few things to make it more balanced, then a new semi, with some other things to make it balanced. but whom knows, maybe adding a sniper rifle would be a bad idea

I would hate for a sniper to be added. If you really wanted one, get a scope sight for your rifle. Now, if you want a sniper so it can peer through the fog, think about how it'd be ridiculously over-powered. You could see your targets, but they couldn't see you. Easy kills, while they can't do a thing.

We already have the rifle, and it suits just fine.

I think sniper takes up the semi area while semi moves to an actual Battle Rifle.

i think that adding a sniper rifle would probably help balance things, i dont think the semi would stay the same as it is now if a sniper rifle were to be added
