a weapon that by design is meant to be worse than every other weapon in the game? yeah no. the odds of running out of ammo completely with any weapon that isnt an smg is very low. actually youll probably die a lot with smg so its still unneeded.

I think a side-arm could be added, but not any time soon. Right now we need to work on core gameplay, even If psyspades is doing it all months before Ben....

I personally think a handgun/sidearm will not be used a lot. Unless you are running back to the fort because you're out of ammo, which is actually kinda rare if you are playing with decent people.

Also remember that the guns must be in the proper era/war.

Im saying for the NEXT weapon READ THE WHOLE OP PLEASE. Ben can fix anything he wants now but im saying that the next weapon he addes which could be WHENEVER maybe in the last update before final release, that it should be a sidearm, people are becoming too impatient to read the whole OP, ugh, kids these days...

I think it should be a sidearm. The traditional pistol should be a choice. Another may be rockrt launcher with 2shots, or even like jerk said mortars. I highly disagree with putting in vehicles though.

Nope. We don't need a sidearm that will probably be forgotten by most players. It'll probably be a humiliation weapon like the pickaxe at them most.
Instead of switching to a sidearm after you run out of ammo, you should be able to scavenge ammo from your dead adversaries (and fallen allies), thus negating the need for said sidearm and a more permanent solution (what happens if I run out of pistol ammo?).

Ben should be tinkering with the weapons, bug fixing and optimizing the game's networking code. Though adding another PRIMARY would be good too.

No. You're asking for more of what we already have. What this game needs is something different, something to mix up the rock-paper-scissor nature of the weapons. A mortar? Aeroplanes? Something completely different? Whatever it may be, it shouldn't be a sidearm.

So I think its heavily agreed that the next WEAPON that should be added is the side-arm or handgun preferably a pistol. How this is gonna work, I dont know. If your not planning on having another weapon update soon thats totally fine, but if you do add another weapon I recommend it should be the side-arm, who agrees?
