i just want it to be easy for ben, and simple for us. but grappling hooks would be awesome!

Why not just have a grapple gun with 2 shots.

1 to get up and 1 to get down.

or it'd make more big buildings, since 40 block high sniper towers arent being made because you'd need a 2354359 block staircase.

I approve. It would keep buildings small because we wouldn't have to make staircaes.

but i find myself making huge staircases up hallway too foten id there any other ways to ake an upward transportation easier?

who knows, I doubt they will be added. Custom maps took away the need for them

Well make is so you hook it on, then slowly descend with it. Once it's on, people can climb it up and down. This would work best since many times you spawn very high up and receive fall damage.

I think that ladders are easier to make for Ben.

yea the rope idea is cool but there would need to be a way to climb and grapple the hook to a cube

I'm another one for the rope idea, I posted it in the other thread. Maybe 12 ropes, each one takes us 2 blocks and you can climb the ropes, but at 75% of the autoclimb speed or something.

I suggest ladders, as I did in the first day forums got back on.

I think with a rope we wouldn't need ladders xD

i have seen the ladders pop up a few times in these forums. i wanted to lay down a few key points that i find are the most important about this idea. as you know, in AoS everybody starts with 50 blocks. i feel if ladders were added players should have 5 or maybe 10 ladders to place anywhere. if payer were to break them (not with a gun) they could get the ladders back.

but ive read throughout the forums of people saying that its not necessary because we have al the blocks shovels and pickaxes we need. well, tel me what you think!
