I remember friendly fire which helped A LOT! But i was on a server and friendly fire wasn't on. Either its the server or a update.

Also votekicking them takes really long time for some people to vote.

either we need 24/7 admins

All you can do is fight them with friendly fire, rebuillding as they tear down (so they're not really making anymore progress when you do that), and votekick them. :(

Griefing really sucks sometimes though yes what do you want? This is war! We battle and destroy!
But really building something then getting it destroyed by your own teammates is really annoying like something a bit taller when players go and destroy it because why not? Its destroy-able.
To prevent this a bit.I suggest a nice little "rule" that could help.

-> You build a block and to destroy that block your team has to mine it 2 times slower then you can. And the enemy has the same mine speed as your's. Don't know how to make the shovel behave but it could have a longer mine speed as well or so. Also it applies to the guns. Like the shotgun should destroy a block when shoot 2 times not 1 (for your teammates).

And that is about it. Could prevent griefing or a part of it. I hope you hate the idea cause why the hell not! It's hate-able. (not kidding)
