I was browsing the suggestions forum when suddenly, an idea came to me. The game could have a lobby where people can just watch the game without actually playing but can still talk with people in the game and/or other people in the lobby.

On the screen that comes up when you enter a server where you decide what team to be on, there could be a button that says 'Enter Lobby' or just 'Lobby' which people would click on to enter the lobby and there could also be a button in the lobby that says 'Enter Game' which would take you back to the previous screen.

I thought of this in a few minutes so it's not really developed but feel free to post your own ideas that could expand on this.
