I think pressing + or - will turn the volume down, but i think its just the sound effects not the bullets.

as in every shooter except this one?

what kind strikes me is getting shot in this sounds like your getting punched why not

*splat* AUGH!(getting shot by a rifle)
*muffled thud* hne-. (getting hit with a pick axe)
*splat mixed with tearing noise at the same time* NIGH! (shotgun)
*thud times number of subsequent shots* UGH-!

also just the SFX plays but if it leaves with under 10 hp and you live your cartier vocalises his pain ALSO a SEPARATE FEM sound pack!

I'd like to have a sound for bullets flying near your head. The first time I heard that in the original COD it was pretty cool. Now I think every shooter comes with it.

I think we need different hit sounds for each weapon. Getting hit by a volley of SMG shots should not sound the same as getting hit by a fusillade of rifle fire, as they have VERY different damage dealing results.

You can edit the volume of individual WAVs with a sample editor like Audacity.

I'm using a mix of sounds from COD Black Ops and Quake 3 along with edited originals.

i agree that some of the sounds are annoying, but i haven't really had problems with the shotgun in particular. i think the SMG sound is pretty annoying, so i use a different sound that works well. i also seem to do a little bit better with it, i think it was on one of jukelpronabb's videos or whatever

I don't mean the entire game volume. I just mean the ridiculous volume of point blank shots. Yeah I get they're point blank and in real life you'd probably be deaf for about a minute or something stupid, but theres no reason why it should be SOO loud in game.

Point blank shotgun fire to my face made me jump out of my skin. Please lower the volume a little in relation to the rest of the game. I like to be able to play with all the war sounds blazing, but the shotgun to the face is like getting kicked in the nuts soundwise.
