The forums page should display on one page all these links to the sub forums, then clicking will take you to the list of threads in each appropriated section.
Then in each category, have a stickied thread at the top, with the rules for that section.

I.E in the suggestions and ideas, a sticky called " Do NOT suggest" then list the commonly suggested items.

that way if a person makes a suggestion that is on the DO NOT suggest list, just close or delete the thread

What categories/sub-categories would you like to see?
We were about to add little one line descriptions to each category, as bbpress allows us this - give us ideas :)

Just need better forums and sub forums.

I didn't mean to suggest that the clans make new threads as a whole. At the very least, I figure they could copy-and-paste their topic's first post.

Remove the part where you'd have every active clan having to make a new thread, and you're probably good to go.

I don't know if your suggestion will reach the Mods though. :/

Iv suggested similar before, but the admins didn't really care much for it.

Hey, it may not be about the game, but it's relative to the community: I think the forum needs a good old fashioned purge. Hell, I'd rather have different forum software, but a purge is good enough.

There's just too much shit on the forums, honestly, ranging from the same suggestions over and over again, topics filled with one-sentence (or even one-word) posts, and of course, plenty of topics outside of their proper sub-forum.

I figure it'd be good to wipe it clean. Fresh start on it all. Previous suggestions all tacked up in a stickied thread (people read or face the consequence, simple enough), the active clans'd get a new thread each and it'd clean up every dead clan/old thread. I just think it'd be good.
