I wish i could do a patch. Everytime I see python my brain reads GWbasic for some reason.

I get through all the simple math, and hello worlds, then I start getting lost.

Thanks for reading that :) English is not my strongest point.

The re-gen health idea sounds cool. The autohelp-idea might be non-trivial to implement because autohelp entries use regex.

If you can find the time and make a patch for pyspades, that would be cool.

I would really like to see some of these changes for Pyspades:

*** Rollback:
Make so we can set a maximum amount of block to be destroyed in a zone. After the max amount of block is destroyed, that zone rolls back rather than the entire map. This should make it so that rollbacks are not as long, and only happen when that specific area is totally trashed.

A selective rollback might not be a bad idea either. That way it rolls back the entire map at the end of the game as usual. But rather than EVERYTHING getting rolled back it only focuses on the zones that are over a certain % destroyed.

*** user_blocks_only
Forgive me if this already exists.
Make this so we can set it per zone rather than the full map. I need to protect certain zones to keep people from spawn camping too heavy. I think it would be much better if the players are allowed to make and destroy their own things. Rather than a Protect per-zone I would much rather do something like this:
user_blocks_only: "b4, b5, g4, g5"

making so we can set this option per-map by letting us pass it in the map.txt file would really rock!

***Some way to re-gen health when you are near team mates and NO-damage taken for X amount of time. Might be cool to make the players regen if they are near their intel, so it promotes defense more. Same thing as before though it only re-gens if you haven been hurt for a long period of time.

***Text file for the auto-reply so it is easy to add help terms for things people ask constantly. I see the server (or client?) automatically does it when people ask "how do i change my name?".
It would really rock to be able to add to this by tweaking a text file. I have about 30 things on the tip spammer I could remove if it auto-replied to chat requests.
Would be nice to pass commands with this too so you can auto-kick people who are using undesirable terms.

Well, thanks for Pyspades. It really had made running a server fun! It has made playing on the server even funner!
