AOS was flavor of the month for a while on /v/. Then we mastered everything there was to master (cratering the intel, drawing phallic images on the map, etc etc) and most left. I'd say if there was more to the game it'll get famous on it's own.

I'm pretty sure he was including himself when he said the community sucks, but if not, haha... irony. The community only sucks for certain people. Also, nobody gives a shit about the community when they first start playing a game. There are dozens of people who play AoS who probably don't even have an account here.

This game definitely has potential to gain a larger following, but I highly doubt it will ever be as "famous" as minecraft.

This here's an Indie game. I'm not sure about you but I want it to stay that way or at least make sure that when it goes Mainstream, the things that we have come to love about it aren't compromised.

we should have a registry system! since i saw bens post about publishing AoS to minecon i thought that we need to be prepared if this does make it to minecon! the registering system would help get rid of all the deuces. also a real client would be awsome and would be a better layout instead of going to the website and joining a server. also it would be much better to have a screen to customize you loadout/weapons before going in a server. (last idea is if there is an actual client)
