I dont like how people think back the "old days" when its probably just couple months ago. Back then people DID call hackers, there was as much teamwork as these days, some of custom maps beat gen maps and the game is developing. To be honest i like it better now.

I remember the black sights generated map and chat I played from about .16 or something close to that But most of my games were in .36 so thats what I rmemeber most but Wyvern thanks for making a video for this.

I remember when the infinite nade glitch actually was able to do damage. All black silhouettes for the sights. Crouch jumping. Generated maps. Teamwork. People using the chat. I miss those days. :(

Hmm. Change the sensitvity to 2 or 3 good settings.

As for SMG just be carful and aim for head and dodge the slow bullets of SMG

I would love to do so if they fix problem though. I am a rifler and build speedwall defenses. i can demonstrate how to predict your rifles "pull" and some of the sneakier aspects of ctf

Problem is that the new updates killed me
I can't play anymore after the smg buff, mouse sensitivity went all wonky and this oldster (since .28) is almost completely out of commission.

Sounds good! I never played AoS before .54 or so...But I remember when people actually TRIED to get the intel instead of just building by the bases and not killing...

I'm talking about .36 through when the new guns were released.

The days when If you got a good shot people wouldn't accuse you of "X-Ray" "Aimbotter" or even "LOL Noob with hacking scopes"

Now you can edit your sights and I did that to help me a bit but really, it doesn't make me instantly better, I need to practice with it.

Seriously people complain about everything in this game and they don't know what happened and how to be good. They think this is COD and stuff and don't even know what to do.

I propse this:

A youtube video from each of us oldies who know how to play this game and are good at it. I'm not talking about 100killstreaks but even knowing what to do you can help people.

I challenge everyone who meets that critea to do this:

Create a video
Add tips and commentary and strategies and how to get sights and stuff like that
Show gameplay
And encourage people to play and how to change their name.

Not good at gaming but can do sights and modeling?

Cool, you can help by making a video on how to do all that

Once you've made your video and edited it and added all that.

Name it something like this

Ace of Spades - (Pro) Gameplay and commentary

Then link it here on this thread and I'll add it to the list of videos and soon we will have a library of gameplay and tips for the people fresh to the game on how to play!
