Yes it is stupid and childish to make a nazi symbol, and it was propably made by someone who wanted to look tough, but just grief it or leave the server or just leave it there.

Now don't get the wrong idea; I hate those fuckers as much as you do. However, in the end it's hard to votekick them since the swastika is a rather popular symbol on the internet, and there are a lot more neo-nazis than you might have originally thought.

It was actually a buddhist symbol representing good luck, not something that they would hang in a Catholic Church.

Finland had it once, as China did too. Hitler stole it, and after the symbol was raped with blood of jewish's, it hasn't been used anymore.

To be fair, the Swaztika is not just a Nazi symbol. People have been using it for thousands of years in totally peaceful contexts.

Swastika is a symbol used a lot years ago before world war II, so it's not offensice. They made it just for piss off people. I do that too.

The great thing about shooter/builder game hybrids is that if you don't like what you see, then just go out of your way and shoot the damn guy and destroy it yourself instead of shitting your own diaper and whining about the world not being cushy and fitting your comfort zone. Takos, you need to consider some things here...

1. Anybody could have made that swastika. It's certainly not something the author "put in there."

2. You could easily have just navigated to that point on the map... and erased it yourself with the pickaxe or the shovel. Nothing is stopping you.

3. The server name was "Evil Playground" so what were you expecting, Teletubbies?

4. The swastika is a lot older than the Third Reich and certainly isn't always to be interpreted as a "nazy" [sic] symbol. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika#Historical_use_in_the_East (Not that this was probably the case but I think people set too much significance on it's Nazi-usage and that only adds to the power and allure that it's symbolism has for certain marginal personalities.)

Just my two cents worth... there's really no way for Ben to "make something" that would stop people from doing it.

It would be impossible to monitor everybody's actions in a sandbox game where everybody is allowed the option of building. It's up to the server admins and other players to decide whether or not somebody can be kicked/banned for racism/profanity on a server. It's no fault of the developer of AOS that there are kiddies who can't control themselves and find wasting their time on building obscene structures to be entertaining.

P.S.- you might need to try playing on different servers. There are plenty of servers and if there aren't ones you enjoy, then make your own.
