guys i have a problem when i try to go on a server it starts loading then part way through it says "Error server timeout: version mismatch or map transfer fail" it has been doing this for 3 days what do i do?

could you please make this compitable with windows 2000 pro because i just got my dad's old working machine and i would be really pleased to be able to play this with my friends as often as i can instead of going on the family computer all the time

Can't find much, I've only found one and that was in a complete replace zip so I decided to start own thread.

This server is running a modified version of the Harbor map (by triplefox, I think). aos://2423546180

The original map had a little bit of colored voxels at the south edge that spelled out the name of the map author.

The modified map has a big black bar in the bottom row of sectors. I don't know if this was done for gameplay reasons (to remove all the people trying to end run the intel on the south edge) or what, but it has the intentional or accidental effect of removing the in-map credit from the map.

Not cool.

(This is not in Maps because it's not about the map, it's about the server.)

I know my way around Linux and Wine, and AoS is not wanting to connect to any server, either through terminal, a windows browser in wine, or local.

It simply says:

Error!
Server Connection Failed: It's either full or misconfigured

The application voxed.exe and server.exe run, just not the client, and I am willing to host a server for this game if I can solve this issue.

SPECS

I am using Puppy Linux 5.2.8 with Wine 1.3.13

2.2GHz single core CPU

2GB DDR2 RAM

And one badass video card (Can't recall name)

I have made a Linux client in python.
Technically it isn't a client, but it makes it MUCH easier.

I made this because I(and others) have to manually type in the ip that we get from the website.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Have AoS installed using wine.
2. Have python 2.7(not higher, not lower)

WHAT IT DOES:
1. It lists all the servers with: Players, Ping and name
2. It takes input for which server(the number)
3. It runs the terminal command to join that server.

HOW TO SET IT UP:
1. Download it(end of post)
2. Place it in your AoS folder.
3. Either double click it and say: Run in terminal or cd to your AoS directory and type ./client (it will take a few seconds to retrieve the servers)
4. Find the server you want to join.
5. Type in the number next to it(first number on the line)
6. Press Enter and wait for wine to start it!

EXAMPLE
This is an example to show what to do:
1. 2/8 45 Random
2. 5/25 200 Qwerty
Server: 1

It lists the servers(random and qwerty). Then I type in 1 the server number for Random and press enter.

BUGS:
It is still in beta 0.1 and sometime will glitch when getting the servers, this normally occurs when there is a fake server or server is set up weirdly.

Now first I have a request for a small dot scope, that is as precise as it gets. 4px max but it has to be absolutely 100% precise, anyone? :D

Do you people realize how easy it is to make skins for models in the game? it's as easy as building in the real game except you have no clip and there is no delay between each block. If you want to get a particular mod, why not try and make it yourself? I mean all you need is slab6 and you are good to go.

Trials for SPAZ are today! This will begin at 4 P.M Pacific and end at 7 P.M Pacific. Join the server called "SPAZ Tryouts" and remember to try as hard as you can. Only the best of the best can join.

I had a red-dot scope for the semi before the last patch that I had gotten really used to and now that it's gone I can't seem to find it again. I've found things close to it but either the dot is too big, the wrong color, or the sides of the scope are blackened/faded out. I was trying to find one with the highest visibility possible. Here's an example:

I have seen multiple Pyspades servers up, but how exactly do I run it from source? I want to host a server today, because I am impatient. Someone who is currently hosting a server, could you tell me how you ran it?

Was just checking out the map, and it looks like there is enough room for the scoreboard on the left and right side

There is also some smoother sights and smal edithing on the rifle (rounded buttstock). als the death markers ,wich are actualy usefull in very many ways, will be the collor of the team that it is on! The rifle is also a sniper scope now, nothing new there realy.
Note: the parts of the images that are black will apear as the teams colors during game.
