Ok, so on warservers i was building this EPIC basement for this EPIC building, and this noob DUE-ACE comes along and GRIEFS it.
My eternal complaint is that there is no permanent NAME system!
The reason for that is that theres no GUI and those DUECES are too BUM-LAZY to change their name.
So we need a GUI and NAME REGISTRATION SYSTEM.
SO stupid DEUCES will BE banned and STAY banned!

Spadille is a program I made that has a config editor. As for the name system, I don't really see that stopping people from creating griefing.

A solution is banning Deuces; another solution is telling Ben to leave the default name blank.

stack, that way if people get BANNED thell be banned on that USERNAME forever on that server. Or for a certain amount of time.
In essentail, you have to REGISTER your name, with email/password ect.
agree with bild, d`s should be banned before they enter the server, if ur too stupid to freaking get past VISTA/WIN7 permissions, then you dont DESERVE to play the game

I understand that and while it seems good in theory, a lot of services use this method and it's not really effective. Anybody can sign up for multiple emails, or even temporary emails. It seems like overkill, but some people are determined as anybody who's been griefed can vouch for. Plus, I'm sure a lot of people like the idea of no registration system for the game, both legitimate players and griefers. Maybe Ben will add something over time, who knows. Like I said, with my program it has a config editor built in. I recently added a dialog that pops up if the name is set to "Deuce", to help encourage users to change it. Not sure how effective it is, but I figured it was worth a shot.

how do you grief in this game? i just wanna know, cuz it seems hard.

I was thiniking more along the lines of: Your kills get saved per your account, so if u grief on a server and or get /votekicked you lose all the kills from that server. And if you get /votekicked enough, you lose your record kills: example:
Person has total killcount saved on his account as 100
He goes on server and kills 50 people
he greifs and gets votekicked, his 50 people killcount is not saved to his total.
He greifs 5 other servers and gets votekicked, he loses: 5-10-15-20-25 killcount
now his killcount is 75
he griefs 6 more times and is votekicked loses 30-35-40-45-50-55 points.
He now has 20 killcount/points
he greifs and is votekicked on another server loses 60 points (more then he has)
his account is deleted and the email is banned
