  • Votekick GUI
  •

So votekicking is kinda wonky right now. I was thinking that instead of typin /votekickID, we could have a button that you press to initiate a votekick. This GUI would have the names of all the players in the server, allowing you to click one. After you select one, you may pick a reason, Cheating or Griefing, or Other. afterwards, a message comes up on other players screens that says <YOURNAME> wants to kick <GRIEFERS NAME>. They would then type in /yes or /no to vote. Does this seem even wonkier, or you guys like?

The game is crying out for an ingame menu on pressing [esc].
A button could be in the menu, and upon starting the votekick, a little box on everyone's screen could appear with the voters name, target name and reason.
Other players could then vote yes (F12) or no (F11), and upon voting the little box disappears.
If there is enough of a percentage in the server, a server message in chat appears saying that the guy has been kicked.
This seems the most user-friendly way I've seen it done.

yeah, do away with commands completely. /yes, /no, etc. is still too much trouble.

menus and buttons is the way to go.

Good idea Grandmaster, until we can properly and efficiently police this game it's going to be fighting an uphill battle. A bit like the greens :-p
