Nice. I was working on something for Spadille that was kind of similar to allow the admin to view the chat without being in the game.

That won't work. The Server only sends Packets to connected clients. You HAVE to occupy one space to receive those packet,s unless you modify the server to send the packets to you, not being a client.

Yeah I realized that after I thought about it (edited the response like a minute before you posted). I still find myself idle in game a lot because I've alt-tabbed to do something else while hosting a game, so it could still prove useful.

If you could read chat from any server without taking up a server slot, I'd pay you $50 for a copy of the source code.

I'm not saying I could (see the edit). I realized afterwards what I had said, not thinking too clearly, just woke up lol.
