Everybody loves the game, but everybody has suggestions.

It's chaos, I tell you!

So I set up this neat google moderator thingiemajig where you can:
1) Add suggestions
2) Vote on suggestions by other people

Guys, keep suggesitions to ONE SUGGESTION AT A TIME. If you want to make multiple suggestions do so, just dont make 3 in the same suggestion box.

Just make an e-mail adress using your AoS username. For example, my adress is C.h o se.nAoS [AT] g m ail.com (Replace [AT] with @, and leave out all periods except for the last one)

lol yes, to get a gmail address you need to create an address. go figure.

This is working out well, but it's starting to get crowded. I think the home page should display some rules for suggesting, and perhaps get an active moderator to delete things like: duplicate suggestions, already added suggestions, or REALLY unpopular suggestions.

No, this can't be stickied because we have no moderators yet.

Also, suggestions that have already been implemented should be deleted.

That's pointless as we now have a section dedicated to suggestions. This thread is outdated (lol)

This made sense before we had a suggestions section.

I support this system, its definately not pointless. I like it because it means loud mouth spammers count for one and everyone else counts for one, the way it should be (even if abuse is possible, its pretty good).

The suggestions section doesn't have a voting system. I say we use both -- the suggestions forum post being linked to the Google Mod voting post.

We all know how effective a voting system is, thanks to bcoolface's weapon poll.

The idea is that when you make a suggestion topic on the forums, link it to a corresponding google moderate topic. And vice versa. Make the forum topic first because it is editable.

still not stickyed huh?... It would be good if ben would update us on what HE wants and DOESNT want. Like would he want a new forum layout, or a 3rd party voting system like this. Maybe if he could comment on a few of the questions we always fight about??
