Yeah, I would have thought resetting the map would be win conditions 101. If it wasn't using a custom map, it should generate a new map while it's at it.

Yeah, I agree with the threadstarter. The main problem also is that noone cares when one side wins or loses. I mean it immediately resets you back to your base...that's it. We need a break for maybe ~10 seconds.

I can think of this approach for example:
- one player caps the last intel
- all players in the losing team get killed (becausing hearing the die-sound makes you feel sad)
- all players in the winning team get frozen
- the HUD disappears, both teams see the game-stats now (the one which appears when you hold [TAB]) with a big message like "Green team wins" while the winning team hears some nice epic winning (film)music, the losing team some sad/fail music (this would be moddable by replacing one .wav-file)
- players can still write in chat and shout out: "yay, we won, blue sux!!1" / "ah gawd, always those superior greens..."
- after ~10 seconds the maps, the intels, the bases and the players reset
- next round starts and you hear that "intro.wav" again (so players understand that a new game starts now)

This could be even increased by giving the winning team an advantage / the losing team a disadvantage in the next round for some seconds. Like losing team can only walk (slow speed) for the first 20 seconds or winning team has 80 blocks (only once). Something like that, nothing too superior.
