Even with the supposed ip ranges fix, I STILL cant host a server, tried hosting my minecraft server, vent server ect. on it, yet nothing, seriously what the fuck ben, im getting tired of updates not doing anything about this.
Ive done EVERYTHING correctly, dont tell me I didnt do it right, even used DMZplus to test, NOTHING. Fix it ben, now.

No I dont untill i try to join through localhost.

is it allowed to access the internet? firewalls can block it easily. (not saying that you haven't already) You should double check that any firewall you have is disabled, as well as dmz your computer temporarily to see if it works.

I did DMZ it, and i hate all firewalls, i even turned off anti-virus ect.

Take a bloody step back, and start giving us details. What's your ISP's data plan? Are you sure that you have the correct server version? Has anyone else been able to join your server? What's your IP?

All of this information is helpful. Give it to us, and maybe you'll get some help.

The IP range problem was fixed. Instead of blocking half of the desired I.P.'s, now it only blocks yours :)

Anyways the patch worked for me It's definitely helpful. The most I can say is try port triggering as well on top of port forwarding. It like required a response from the server or something before it continues doing it's thing. idk if your router offers it.

I refuse to shut the fuck it, firstly, my ISP has NO data plan, all i know is im paying 20 dollars a month. Im pretty fucking sure about the server version, i update as soon as it releases. No, no one can join due to it NOT SHOWING ON THE LIST. Lastly, my IP is not going to be out there for public use.

Yes, it only does. It may work for you, not for me. No clue what port triggering is, but ill look into it. Do ATnT wireless 2WIRE routers offer it?

By the way, it's an interesting thing, that this game is 2 month old, and everybody can host server, but there are only about 20 servers all the time.
And why should somebody want to host an own server? Because he can connect to a server in about 10-20 tries, and the most of the servers are freaking custom maps.

Firstly, @ danhezee, why cant you admit your wrong and even slightly recognize this problem, i know im not the only one having it, but its a minute majority, the reason i dont do something else is i have nothing, absolutely nothing better to do then sit here and rant.

I highly agree, if everybody COULD host one, everybody WOULD, what takes out the majority of people is portforwarding, which I have already bypassed, even tested with DMZplus, the last few remaining are either able to host like a magical blessing, or they are not. I would fall into the latter. I agree that i do feel the crave for those days when i went on to warservers, nothing was built, fresh map, and we could snipe greens or infiltrate blues in the all-classic way, then again it also contrasts with the fact that I love customization, and there this 9/10 chance that whenever I think of a good map to make, i just dont make it due to not being able to host it on my own.
Also agreeing with the fact of connection, i had to sit sometimes for hours just to get on bridgewars or other such servers. Raise the max people limit plox.

You sir have no iniquity scene direction. Its always a earn to go on and host your own server, no one wants to wait like 10 times, and even if everything all snazzel dazzel being custom and all, some people get BORED, and FAST.
It also is a blessing that a 2 month old game is running this well, dont take me wrong, but why implement other useless things before things people need/want, if the minority is ignored it soon turned INTO the majority.
