I agree, this would make a little more sense. It would be more realistic as well. An entire structure wouldn't collapse to dust falling 1 foot.

A block is more like 2 feet, if 3 blocks = a person :D but alas, same thing, and you got the right idea.

ok, but wouldn't it be like impossible to reach an intel on top of a tower now? If you have to dig 100 something blocks in order for the intel to slowly descend as you chop away at the bottom you better be damn lucky nobody caps you first.

Increase the spawn delay to give attackers more time to get the intel.

Now were getting into the cycle of just making more stupid rules for an idea that was stupid in the first place. Ben [Mr. Aksoy for those who's genitalia will get in a bunch if I don't address him as so] had it this way for a reason. Leave it as is.

NO. That's just a victory for griefers if we leave it the way it is. I would almost say give the blocks immunity to gravity entirely if it wasn't for the fact that intel towers would become overpowered. Perhaps make the intel be on a fixed ground level, unable to be raised or lowered at all?

    I dunno.

and then there's that one in fifty chance it spawns on top of someones sniper tower and nobody ever sees it again.

True, but that wouldn't make it impossible to get to, lol. Would just take a lot of teamwork. And anyway like I said, I wasn't really suggesting that. It creates a problem just to take care of griefing.

The one true fix to griefing is for all these kids to grow up.

Which is a dream, not a solution. I'd still like to see if IP bans do the trick although I don't know how pragmatic it is to install that into the game because I don't code.

No no, script kiddies these days all use "proxies" because they're so cool they can just evade bans.

Somewhere in an other thread somebody said that somewhere in a readme file Ben said, that he want to make the blocks falling realistic in the future. (Nice sentence :)) And look at the falling now! The falling blocks don't disappear suddenly. There is a physically right falling animation right now. The "only" thing, that remains, to set the falling blocks to the part of the map again, to that place, where they fell. If it can be make, 1 block wide intel towers would fall like they fall now, but their blocks would remain and would kill the victims under them. By the way, if you build a 7*7*20 or a 9*9*20 tower, it shouldn't fall down as easily, as a 1*1*20 tower, just lowering 1 or 2 level.
And my last word. If we want a more realistic sandbox war game, there shouldn't be huge towers, forts, castles, etc. For example, in the first world war mostly there were only trenches, short(!) tunnels, and small, 5-10 m high wooden guard towers. No soldiers started to build a whole fort, because nobody has time for it in the middle of a battle, and nobody has the enough stone or bricks with him. (Yes, there weren't backpacks with 32 m^3 rocks in each of them.)
So, if the players couldn't build the Colosseum in 5 minutes, reaching the intel would be easier, and no matter how are the blocks falling.

Isn't it because an intel is a stupid fuck? On what war you last time seen soldiers stealing a fucking bag from a fucking enemy headquaters? Iraq? WWII? We need fortress defence mode.

And if you still like your intel megaidea, you can make it fall not only downwards but on the north/south/east/west side too using some criterias.

Osama died 5 years ago, man. Ohh you're about taking his body out of grave, lol. Well, it wasn't war. It was spectacle. Dramatic show.
