for close combat and for tight spots where you are in the midst of battle, but have no time to reload. Sure, it may change up the gameplay, but for the better! All I ask for is a pistol. Here is my idea of a balanced pistol... · Has the same amount of bullets as the rifle The damage nerf and lack of ironsights makes people rely on it more during close-combat.. which is what it SHOULD BE FOR. thoughts and suggestions? |

damn man, I was just tossing out ideas. it's not like it's guaranteed that a pistol with these exact same stats will come out next patch. I didn't say it had to be in the next update anyways |

I dunno. It could be changed... I just added that so people wouldn't just use the pistol as a spray and pray weapon over long distances. But, your preference! Lack of ironsights could be interchanged with bulletspread, just something to keep people from spamming it over distances |

We need a second weapon, but I really do not want a pistol/sidearm. I would honestly rather see a sub machine gun because it could be used for more than just close quarters combat, but it wouldn't have the sniper-like accuracy of the normal rifle. That would pretty much take the role of the pistol while adding onto it. Originally, I was against the addition of a sub machine gun (or any "move-while-firing" automatic weapon), but I've noticed that most firefights in this game do not last all that long. Of course, the battle itself will go on as long as there are enough soldiers respawing in time to get to the front lines, but the actual engagements themselves only last a few seconds. With the addition of a sub machine gun (that has the accuracy of say, a rifle in fired from the hip), it wouldn't be instant one-hit kills, but it would force people to get down into cover. In effect, this slightly prolongs the battle (until one person sticks their head up and gets it shot off with a rifle). Still though, I am mostly hoping for a machine gun that can only fire while the user is stationary, as in, it needs to be "deployed" (or something similar) before it can be used. That's just my opinion. |

I think a sidearm needs to hold 27 rounds, and each magazine has about 9 rounds, you can reload 3 times. |

Well, keep in mind that the pistol isn't meant to be a primary, or even comparable to the rifle. It's meant to be a backup when you're out of ammo or when you simply don't have the time to reload fast enough |
