Has the community suddenly decreased?

Before 17 of May my site http://iammorthor.com/aos/ had 11000 daily hits.
From that day on, it lowered to 1000.

Did some awesome server browser come out, or did something happen that I don't know?

Community went down, spadille server browser came out, as well as I just use regular server browser on ace-spades.com

I'm going to keep the site up for now, if it dies out too much, I'll just remove it, one less cost for me.

I ended up putting a google ad up, but... I was getting around 8k hits per day and got 1 click on the ad every 2 days lol. People loved the site, but no one cared enough to click the ad and support it.

The only reason the community died down though, is because they weren't die hard fans, and the fact that there was no "major" update, such as adding a new gun. It's all they wanted. I really don't care, I like this game.

I have other things to do, and i know ben will get to us eventually, but i remember in the interview he said he wanted to make a game that "HE" want to play, and i don't think the community realizes this. Instead we all nag and nag for shit that really wouldn't have any real use.

People also forget that we are playtesters. We don't get to complain about bugs and problems. We're just supposed to report them and identify ways they can be fixed.

You also realize its summer so people are probably going outside and shit, hell i'm going to the lake a week or so.

Yeah you're right, game communities always get lower during the summer.
It was just really ankward, 17 days in a row, over 10k hits, from that point on, around 1.5k.

But the kids are out of school and can play more finally.

But some kids actually have lives.

And here in NY we're not done with school yet.
