I love playing this game, the concept is awesome, build, battle, capture, destroy... However some people take the destroy part of the game WAY too far. you might know these people as greifers, trolls, ass holes... you name it. They ruin the maps by destroying everything in sight. They revel in destroying in seconds what can take hours to build, they are rude, crude, and annoying.

The vote kick system does not work, few people will bother taking the time to type in "/votekick #" and even fewer know what it does or how it works. The last 3 servers I played on were completely flattened by griefers, you could not build anything, not even a simple way without someone (on you own team) grenadeing, shooting, or otherwise tearing it down.

Almost everyone who wasnt griefing was team killing those few people who were doing the greifing, but what good does that do? It is a minor inconvenience to the griefer in causing a major inconvenience to the the people playing.

I say if 5 or more team-mates team kill you, then you should be banned for 1 hr from the server.

I say if someone destroys more than 50 friendly placed blocks in one life or say 5 minutes, auto kick them, if it happens again, ban them for 1hr.

There needs to be white listed servers with player mods. white list can be set up in forums

I say the votekick should be an option that comes up by pressing "k" a screen will open with all the player names; all you do is click the name you want then press accept. there will be a number next to each player's name indicating the number of votes they have/how many needed.

blowing up walls with grenades should be the same as using a pick or spade (that is you can teamkill for throwing grenades at friendly structures)

If someone is kicked, all of their blocks are removed from the map. (maybe this could case some un-intended destruction, however how many griefers, really contribute to major structures... very few; they are more into making penis', swastikas, foul works, or covering / filling useful structures in pink blocks (which if you remove makes you a target for the griefer to teamkill you!))

I know many will not agree with these settings but, something needs to be done, griefers and trolls are ruining the game, it is impossible to play in peace any more. I do not get why people get off to this type of behavior

This is mentioned in about 10 different threads dude, a lot of people feel the same, and a lot of people are no longer playing as much or at all because of the greifing.

I think you would be foolish to suggest that all of their bocks be removed. What if you were building an extension to someone's build who got kicked, boom you buggered. The intel defences could be at risk as well. 25% is a good amount for server kicks, it just needs to have the y/n system implemented. If you have less than 25% a couple of people could easily get together and kick the entire server :3

If you look at serverbot servers the votekicks are relatively successful and pretty quick compared to most.

whatts your fucking problem, sure the game isnt finished, it needs work,but as of now it sucks because assholes like you can do what ever you please to piss people off. Nico1995, yea I guess you are right about the number of kicks, However I disagree about the blocks part, most griefers do not contribute to any useful structures, they are more into making penis' , swastikas, and curse words along the map as well as covering useful structures in pink blocks.... besides losing a few key blocks is worth getting rid of someone annoying enough to be kicked in the first place.

I suppose thats true, the only issue with all of this being that it could cause some issues with the game being so amazingly simple, removing a host of blocks, even into the hundreds in one movement could be an issue...

I do not think it would be much of an issue, the block coordinates can be saved into a text file. Upon a player being kicked, the text file will open, be read, and any blocks under their name will be removed. That way the data will only be opened when needed, it can be very quickly be added or removed.

Use Pyspades, togglebuild. Fixed! If you want o build on top of it, enable godmode, then you can build, and disable to fight.
