I assume the people who discovered this bug in the AoS master server code notified Ben and gave him 30 days to fix it, and then after 30 days had passed and he hadn't fixed it decided the best thing to do was publish that it was broken...

Oh, no wait, they went and exploited the bug as a way to demonstrate to Ben it was broken? On a game in beta?

I wish the game didn't obfuscate the IP address so I could make sure I *never* went to those guys' servers ever. (Assuming they actually even have one. But maybe it just lets them publish whatever they want without even having a server? Or did they have to adapt pyspades?)

Eventually Ben will fix it, but until then, this community is sufficiently full of griefers that it's not going to stop, and posting pictures of all the variations of it isn't going to help.

Ben should fix this ASAP. It seems like they're trying to play around with it right now, so I would suggest you to use NoScript on the site or something.

be pretty dumb if some dude creates a recurring message... "Stop" click ok "STOP" click ok "Stop"... one of those alert boxes which disallow anyone from clicking what's behind them. could be handy tho. i'm unsure what javascript can do, but if it can look in the config.ini, see the name, and say "Your name is still Deuce. Please read the readme for information on changing it."

I managed to take it down, yes (sorry, I won't tell you how). There's currently a hacker inserting PHP scripts into the site, so the site will probably blow up soon.

He did not hack... he exploited a setting in pyspades that allowed him to do it. He wasnt hacking the site... ???

Nico199513, it's not pyspades-specific. You can do it with the normal server.exe. It's an exploit with the master server + site.

hmm im not sure about that, but the guy doing it is using pyspades, and its now back up with a relatively normal picture. Normal exe is limited to letters and numbers isnt it?

He actually told me how he did it. He put a picture url in pyspades.
