When we die we become more fierce and attack with all our might to our killers, leaving him covered in a pool of blood. We attack with stealth and power. We are always on the move. Come on, guys. It should be obvious that this isn't Call of Duty by now.

Half the servers that run pyspades seem to think it is, what with the AIRSTRIKES and everything.

Goodness... I hate those airstrikes. I've used and deployed them before, and found that not only are they annoyingly difficult to get with glitch-prone PySpades, they're also quite underpowered against the actual players on the other team and really effecient at spawnkilling people about five times in a row.

I think we can all agree that airstrikes don't belong in vanilla AoS (aside from COD kiddies, whose opinions I bluntly ignore anyway. Sorry kiddies).

They're too easy to get, I got 3 in a row last night. Also they're quite overpowered, got an average of 3 kills with them.

I got three in a row myself once, by hiding somewhere and sniping people. One big problem is that the airstrikes encourage camping, because it's the easiest way to earn them, and the airstrikes are useless for killing a dug-in camper. In an airstrike-free map it may be worth it to get killed for the sake of two or three extra kills, in an airstrike map it isn't.

Exactly, thats how they're "easy to get".
But I suck at this game, so camping and sniping is all I'm really good at.

Clans are still pointless, though. Why bother making one, when all it will do is cause the more well-known members of the AoS community to label you a CoD kiddie?

By contrast, I haven't started any clan, yet I've managed to "know" quite a few other AoS players to varying degrees. You'll attract more good players to your servers without a clan.

I agree. When it comes down to it, in this game, you're either green or blue.

Clans, airstrikes.... they both share a common fanbase, so I consider it on-topic with the thread.
