I am GOING to get hate for this. I know it because every one is sick of Machine gun ideas, but hear me out. Im assuming all of you have played any halo game. So, each side has five premounted machine guns. There position is determined by the map editor, or on the random maps, they are placed by the host. They would be like Halo Mini guns. They leave you totally exposed, but they are fuckin' powerful and have infinite ammo. But, let's say you want to take it to kill some MoFos gaurding there intel. You press a button, and you can strut around town with your badass mini gun. The only problem is is that it has limited ammo, it slows you down like a mother fuck, you cant use any other tool, and auto-climb is negated. If a player dies, they drop the gun and another player from either side can pick it up. But, this does make it vulnerable to griefers. The host is allowed to respawn a machine gun if it ever gets dropped. Simple as that. The problem with that is the host might be biased because of their team, but we'll cross that bridge later. I know this is a big idea, and i know we need a lot more stuff before a new gun, but i think this might be able to work. But, more likely, im just gonna get hate. Ideas?

Machine guns were used in that fashion in WW1. The central powers used them far more than the allies, however. I don't see why you'd call them 'Halo Machine Guns' as that just gives people the wrong idea.

I only disagree with picking it up, they had machine guns in ww1, they were mounted and inaccurate as hell.
