We need to stop griefers.
The only way I can think of that isn't open to abuse is a registration system, and I don't think that's going to happen soon.

I'm pretty much done until there's a better anti-dick head system.
Post ideas on how to stop or at least lower the amount of griefers.
From what I've seen it's about 1/5 people, and they can only be stopped if they're in the middle of digging or have just thrown a grenade.

It's just not enough.
NOTHING can be done to stop the ones that put random blocks everywhere, and the votekicking system is just terrible.
Even if a votekick works, they can leave before the vote is completed and just come back, or they just move onto another server.

There needs to be registration, and bans should be shared across servers, and be applied to their accounts.
IP banning is stupid, as pretty much anyone can change their IP address with little knowledge.

Well, it's the only thing that'd slow them down, yes.

The truly dedicated griefers are just going to create many accounts to grief with.

Trusted accounts being whitelisted onto servers would be one way to fully remove griefers from the game. That way it wouldn't be an IP that is whitelisted, but the account itself.

It would take 2-3 minutes to create an account and with a proper votekick system/admin mod with admins that are on a lot, take like 1 minute to ban them.

It's much more effort to come back, and they'd probably get sick of it shortly.
Maybe an IP+account ban at the same time so if they don't know how to change it they're completely fucked.

I just RQ'd from the Pinpoint map because there was about 8 people on the blue team, and there were 4 people going around destroying everything on the map, and votekicking didn't do shit.

I've said it a few times and I'll say it again.

Accounts flagged as moderators that can log into any server as an admin.

I've never seen an admin on this game, EVER and I've been playing semi-regularly since 0.2

Maybe on your server, but I think there's a lot more griefers out there than 5.

Speaking of 2-3 minutes, it would take less time than that for you to search and find there are MULTIPLE threads about griefing in which registration is suggested as the fix.
