It has been a while, longer than in between the other releases. I hope he has some great stuff to show us.

i don't think it will be 0.53 that will be coming out. there will (Hopefully) be some really good stuff for "0.53", if that is even the version coming out.

it isn't the standart bug-fixing updates (I hope) we had for such a long time, so you guys should just be patient, it's hard work, and hopefully, it will be huge.

I ain't gonna lie; I was impatient a month ago. Now I'm getting annoyed.

While unneeded/unwanted pressure is not a good thing for any video game developer, I am still wondering why we have not been given any information regarding the next update.

Well, if you count mysterious and vague little hints as "information", then I guess we'll be getting a new update "sooner than you think" (which also turned out to be false; I though we were getting a new update 2 weeks ago).

Impatient assholeness aside, I think it's reasonably safe to say that if it has taken this long (and if it is going to take even longer), then this update might just be worth the wait.

Oh yeah, it's most likely going to be called 0.60 if it does end up being a "big" update.

If Ben wanted, he could release the next update 5 years from now.

I agree. However, a few bugfixes every one or two weeks would suffice...

You guys remember the 0.52 update don't you? We waited about a month for it and we got something that prevents auto-climbing at a certain angle. I admittedly don't even like that feature. I think Ben is just taking some long breaks from Ace of Spades development.

You didnt wait a month for 0.52. Besides this update he has released almost weekly.

Go to the "News" section of the website. Most of the updates came out within 1-2 weeks of each other.

It's coming... a new weapon, some changes to the netcode, and other stuff I want to really test out before a release.

Thanks for letting us know, Ben! Sounds cool. I'm not sure if I want to know about the new weapon now or let myself be surprised, but chances are I'm going to have to go with the latter option anyways. I look forward to finding out!

I would've done that too. Screw the impatient players, it's done when it's done. Honestly it's bad enough when people complain about waiting for a game that hasn't come out yet. Complaining about an update to a game you can still play at any time is just pathetic.

Longer wait for better thought out features>shorter wait for rushed work anyday.
