That isn't a very convincing civil war skin, alas. He isn't wearing his full leathers, so one can imagine he died from the thrashing he got from his second Sergeant.
Do a little more research and the skin would be a lot cooler.

Yeah, that generally doesn't qualify as "research".

To give you an idea of the sheer amount of equipment a soldier would have had, the standard equipment consisted of:
Uniform (Cotton undershirt, wool pants, wool jacket, wool cap, leather belt, leather shoes)
Rifle (Springfield Model 1861 was one of the more common rifles)
Bayonet and sheath
Cartridge box
Cap (primer) box
Canteen
Haversack

You'll have to do some research on how they were generally worn.

Ok i am puting stress on the this is my first skin. It was the best i could do with the pic he gave me, and at the moment i dont have the time to edit it. Also gun skin was never said tobe included so u can take that out. Also i tried to add some of these but it didnt look good.

you did good on it :) but if you could add a red strip going down the sides of his pants and arms thatd be cool too :) and adding the little satchel from silentsix's pack ( http://ace-spades.com/forums/topic.php?id=1957#post-23253 ) for a gunpowder pouch type of thing, and mabye a canteen or something, but other than that this is great. :)

Also, i know this probably dosent make sense but could you make a female version of this skin?

remember the hair is continued onto the torso piece so u need to get that on, and you might wanna make green teams clothes gray so we can tell the differance

You made the union soilder before (the one in blue) this is a confederate soilder which could be used for green team
