Just play your own music. Thats what I do, and nobody else is forced to listen to it. Not everyone wants to hear music anyway. Let them have their concentrated silence, and just put your own music on in the background. Easiest thing in the world.

My heart rate usually doubles once I've got the intel anyway (sad but true). I just listen to my own music to begin with... generally metal (although if I turn it as loud as I want to I can't always hear shots, picks, etc... so I have to turned it down a bit, alas).

It would kinda kill the joy of that moment when stars align and you pull an amazing stunt running back to your base while enemies bullets are showering your back, and somehow missing, all the while a perfect song came up through the playlist and your face is having an orgasm expression cos everything went just way too perfect to be even possible!

Happens all the time to me- It all depends on what you listen to. I sometimes even hold off an action a few seconds until the music lines up, then spring into action to a music fanfare. Unbeatable moments, especially when the intel is involved.
