I give it an 8/10. The new gun is what we all asked for, and now we got it. It is fairly balanced, I am still going to use the rifle, but I will use the SMG when needed. The recoil is a bit much, but evened out by the fire rate.

Easy 9 for me.

some lag issues, i dislike server side and SMG is like a 6/10 for me, but everything else is great.

7/10 - Overall an improvement, and I love the new graphics (9/10 there) and like the new SMG (7/10). There's a few new glitches though... lag teleporting, the annoying but not too serious gap between the sights and the upper and left edges of the screen, and the serverside hit detection's "wallhack" side effects (shots appear to go through walls and kill you, I've encountered it several times). I'm also annoyed that the rifle's been nerfed a bit, particularly in conjunction with the addition of a powerful new SMG. The rifle is less popular than the SMG on all the servers I've been on, because the rifle's lost its accuracy.

I would have liked to have been able to build on top of water, and not being able to press ESC to leave the chat interface is annoying. I love the SMG, it's balanced and it literally "forces" teamwork. It also leads to some pretty serious battles.

9/10. The new graphics are amazing but they forgot to fix view models. SMG is almost perfect, but it's way too good at demolitions. The new menu is nice. Everything else is just bugfixes.

5/10 just for the graphical update which was great. Everything else is shit.

Love the update. Really don't get why half the people hate the SMG. Recoil needs toned down a bit in my eyes, though, but it is impossible to cater to everyone's tastes.

I'd say the update is easily an 8/10. The SMG is great if you know what maps to use it on. (close quarter city maps, bridge wars[side tunnels would be fun to kill people in]) The new graphics are nice.

I think the number one thing about it is the fact that I don't lag every 2 minutes, lose half my health and then fall through fucking bridges and shit.

The SMG is useful for destroying shitty structures.

I think the recoil is perfect, any less and it would be spammed by everyone. 7/10.

i enjoy how the iron-sight zooms out after you fire
i like the much smoother block looks
as kanye said, the smg is great when you know where to use it, so i enjoy killing people who are stupid and use it on wide open maps :P
i haven't suffered hit lag, cause I've only played on my server :3
it loses the .5 cause i wish the smg recoil, or the spray, where nerfed just a tad bit

Frankly, if the SMG was any more accurate or lower-recoil, it'd become way too overpowered.

In fact, I'm not entirely sure what was so bad about the 0.53 implementation. I used it a lot, and I thought it was pretty well balanced.

I like the new stuff but:

- If you don't have a good ping, the game is less smooth than before. However, you don't have to lead the shots like some people were anticipating. Tbh, I would just quit playing if I had to.

- Ironsights aren't well scaled in-game.
