This is horribly unbalanced bullshit. The SMG takes 3 bullets to break a block, same as the rifle. How did that make sense to ben? If the SMG gives less damage to players, it should also give less damage to the blocks. I'm thinking 5 shots per block. Anybody know how much damage it does to body/head? I haven't been able to test but I heard 8 body shots. Anybody confirm?

Also, it sounds horribly annoying. Did he use recordings of a fucking airsoft gun or something because that's what it sounds like. Anyone have any good .wav replacements for it?

a head shot is 49 damage, and i have nothing against the sound :O

Go look for weapon mods in the mods section.

Currently using Dragunov and AK-47.

he probably made the sound himself to avoid background noise, like if you hear a bird cherping when you took a shot with the gunfire.

20 hits? Might as well take off block damage.

I love the block damage of the SMG. Build your fort and build it strong.

yeah, i find it fine. you just have to build things very well, or not care that your fort is going to be useless in some moments. the SMG is great, it is just a different style of weapon.
