    here are some idea's THAT ARE NOT WEAPONS
    -smooth crouching, its a little confusing when in an 2 b. high space suddenly uncrouching.
    -First-Person/Third-Person reload animations, because its cool
    -Move all kills and deaths to the upper right corner, messages like : Deuce1 commited thought he could fly. Deuce1 planted a bullet in Deuce2 his head.
    -Falling in water should absorb falling damage, descending the stairs in bridge maps IS WAY TOO LONG
    -Hit direction, knowing where the damage comes from, to know where these pesky spawncampers and snipers hide.

    -Quicker reload for the SMG. You have to admit that SMG reloading isnt that long in other games.

    -TIME LIMITS

    -Account registration, so griefers are easier to ban

    -when a falling structure falls on you, YOU ARE DEAD

    It could be out of the limits of Ace of Spades' capabilities, but how about 3D sound?

    I'd like to have a better idea of where a shot is coming from or where someone is tunneling.

    Sure, if you're nearby the tunneling/mining sound is louder, but are they to the left? Right? Directly above me?

    ..The sounds are already fine as is.

    I use my 5.1 headset on this game some times, i can hear people stepping on my turf the minute they come out of the fog.
    So cash.

    Even my ho-hum normal headphones do great. I love using the walk key to sneak and pop up to a headshot.

    I like the falling buildings damage idea (when someone collapses the roof on you, it hurts), and I think that water should absorb a bit of damage, but not to the degree of Minecraft. Since you can wade right across it, it's obviously pretty shallow, so it shouldn't absorb all that much damage.

    Reload animations are too CoD-ish. I'm not sure what you mean by smooth crouching... if you mean a fix for the bug that makes you randomly stand up for a split second, I'd like that fixed. If you mean putting an end to instantaneous crouching, I'm not so sure... people can duck pretty fast.

    Hit direction indicator is too CoD-ish as well. Account registration is a good idea that's been promoted on the forums for a long time (although Ben hasn't implemented that yet, I hope he will in the future).

    I think the kill notices at the moment are fine... you know when you've killed someone, which is already more than a real-life soldier can say sometimes. Notices of your own kills and teamkills are enough.

    I don't see what practical purpose time limits would serve.
