I've tried your game now and it seems very nice and attractive and I wish I could find 32 people to play with in this moment :)

Anyway, the only thing bothered me so far was water. Why can't I jump out of it or destroy blocks next to it? I had to do suecide everytime I fell into that water.

Hi Thanks for testing! In the water you have to do the famous crouch jump (as explained by Gina from Half-life). You jump first and then crouch to raise your legs... This allows you to jump over 2 blocks at a time (in water for example)

The restrictions on building/mining the ground level has to do with the way the engine compiles the vxl map... but I guess also in a design sense I wanted to make the rivers a bit of an obstacle you might want to build over.

Also note the master server is down :( I have to fix some network issues on my end but I will hopefully it'll be back up tonight with an improved server/client for the testers :)

Right, how could I forget that! >:( My solution to that problem was building a bridge over the water, haha. It was kinda interesting as well (this way you would be forced to defend builders as a team while they build passage trough). Option to have lava instead of sea to make that possible maybe? :)
