I think they need to work on some sort of melee weapon, and if not, then at least make the shovel do slight damage incase someone comes up from behind, nothing major, and I know using the shovel as a melee would make it look weird because of how it's animated. I just want some sort of knife, not just three ranged weapons only.

i really, really want to kill people with the pickaxe

It does seem a bit weird that running up and using the pickaxe on someone's face doesn't... you know.. hurt them at all. It'd certainly make tunneling more terrifying if it did.
