I made a map using a "stain glass" photoshop filter to make a cool elevation effect. What it looks like in person. This is a view from VOXED, I don't have server powers yet so I can't try it in-game. This isn't an official map release, I just thought it looked cool :D |

wow with a smaller glass tiling and a little more varience this could make a really wicked desert crack height map for a low-level area. |

Run server.exe, type in the name of your map, 1, <whatever>, 'n' so it doesn't show up on the master server list. Click this link to connect locally to your game: aos://16777343 You shouldn't need to open any ports since it just collects internally in your machine (although if you have a program that watches net connections that might react, I forget). (This doesn't let you actually see how it plays with other people, but you can take in-game screenshots, and you can experiment with tunnelling and shooting things and etc.) |

Holy shit nothings! Thank you! Do... do you want to marry my sister? So after walking around this map I think it would play pretty nicely. The gaps are small enough to jump without using bridges, but they're wide enough that you could slowly creep towards intel using them (I'd say they're about 10 blocks below the surface level). You'd be constantly paranoid about finding the enemy lurking in some damn crack somewhere :D |
