The channel requires users to be voiced in order to talk (if you were to read the message that appears to you when you arrived).. it's a measure against spammers etc, though we are considering new ideas.
I happened to not be around, and same with the other Op's - you shall be voiced on return.

Uninterested in the gameplay due to the SMG, rifle hit spread, and lack of anything really being done about griefing. Oh and no new game modes.

@Kaede: Ah. I've kind of learned to adjust for the cone of fail on the rifle by aiming faster and a bit less carefully, but you're right, it's still lame. I'm hoping Ben has heard our pleas and will fix the rifle soon.

um I'm really interested in this game and i want to be an admin because when people grief i try to fix it but it like never stops .so I want to become an admin. and i will help the sever allot and i bet it would be really fun to be an admin. plus i'm really friendly

It'd also help if you joined the channel using your forum nickname too, just for the record..
IRC is known for being idle, we talk when we have things to discuss and when people are around - many are afk. People are around most of the time - you just need to say something and wait and you're bound to get a response.

I think I can follow all those guidelines. :) I am also gregarious when playing normally, and serious when having a high rank such as an admin. I was on IRC on the Minit chatroom but you weren't there. Is there any time we can discuss if others or I can be an admin?

hmm i was on the IRC at #Minit, and asked about the administration, but no one replied except grandmaster, he only said that Minit is a bot, which isnt much helpful, is there anyway that i can become an admin before this closes?

God, Enari, can you PLEASE remove KomradeGen as admin or talk to him or something? I know he thinks he's being helpful, which is appreciated, as opposed to servers where admins just come on and leave. But for the love of God, the stuff he does is annoying as hell.

Things he does that's just plain annoying:
1.) Give people God-Mod and then usually I'll tell him before hand that the person he Gmodded will do something stupid like, for instance, kill someone, and claim it was an accident. I haven't been wrong.

2.)Ban people who aren't doing anything really offensive. I've seen him kick people for 'griefing the bridge', makes me kind of scared, because I thought of building a base by hollowing out a part of the bridge, he'll probably ban me.

3.) He's a hypocrit. He muted me for foul language, and then he told me to 'SHUT THE FUCK UP' because I told him to stop gmodding people. Then he claimed he knew exactly what he was doing, and that I didn't (I've hosted many other games before; I know perfectly about administration.)

4.) Him and his 2-3 god modded friends will build godblocks everywhere, claiming they're 'filling in holes' or 'fixing stuff'. This is really annoying. I was being shot at so I tried to dig a hole into the wall; didn't work, I'd often die because of that. Or, better yet, I'd try to dig a hole to the enemy intel; can't because they'd build entire areas of godmodded blocks.

5.) He'll godmod himself, build huge, unwanted god-structures, and then claim he's 'scouting for griefers.' The point of an admin is for people to REPORT stuff to you. If no one cares about their fortress being griefed, then he doesn't need to go all out and bother people.

6.) part of 5; When he's walking around with his godmodded friends looking for griefers, he'll get in the way of gunfire, by walking a train of 2-3 people through a small area with godmod on, and then finally, when I can tell which one of the blues isn't god modded, I'm dead. Can I build a base? Sure, but am I going to have to waste 2 minutes of my life every time I see Komrade?

7.) Killing in gmod. I guess Kom missed the memo, but I'm certain your server is a war server. So while he's trying to get his friends to jump off a cliff or something to survive, and I shoot them (I have no discrepancy, if I see an enemy, I'll shoot them. I don't know who they are, I don't know what they're doing) So he'll shoot me, then godmod himself immediately.

8.) Interfering with gameplay in general; he constantly does rollbacks that are unnecessary (I understand, sometimes it takes two rollbacks to 100% restore the map, but it's never necessary for two; so there's little holes and craters everywhere, who cares, they'll be back within no time because people build trenches, and throw grenades).

Bottom line: Either remove him, or talk to him. This is really annoying now; most other people don't speak up because they don't know what's going on, or they feel like Komrade is the host, and they'll be banned if they say anything. But I remember Minit when Komrade wasn't even there. IT was a fun server, because I didn't have to worry about the above 8 things. Now, Minit's the only one that hosts certain of my favorite maps (el alamein, bridge wars<--- he's the only one that uses pyspades with it, and matpow2's bridge wars rarely rolls back, Normandie <--- Sham's server is the only other acceptable Normandie server), so yeah, I could go some place else, but that to that effect, tell me how often there are servers that host those maps and actually get a decent amount of players while using pyspades? 2 at the most? And rarely does the other rollback?
