your teammates put TRUST in their team to not get griefed and that TRUST gets broken

Destroying enemy structures is not griefing. Destroying autistic structures in A1 is not griefing. Destroying your own team's structures is griefing, and there is no part in the game for people who do this.

If it's destroying autistic structures in A1 then it's griefing. If it's in C4, then it's not.

So making little kids cry and whine enough so they can come cry and whine here on the forums should be a tactic?

Lemmi explain something, if greifing becomes widely accepted, then ppl will stop building things, because there's no point to building, it would just get taken down.

Therefore, what would be the point in having destructible maps? therefore this game would just become a browser based clone of COD, therefore you sir are a retard for thinking that greifing is acceptable.

Listen, the point of having a destructible environment relies on the fact that ppl will build and destruct the enemy's defences, now if you cant build defences, then having a destructible environment would be pointless.

As alls you could do would be dig tunnels, the maps would soon become way to...tunnely....yes tunnely is now a word.

if this game was free-for-all deatchmatch, fine, go destroy anything and everything in your path. but because CTF is based on teamplay, griefing your team only hurts the gameplay. destroying enemy structures is perfectly acceptable and encouraged because doing so complements the game's current design, which i know from experience is way more fun than griefing some innocent teammate.

The real grief will only be realized when the ever-present "lolitrollyuo" faggots scare off all the potential new players and Ace of Spades becomes yet another forgotten indie game.

Succesfully robbing a major bank is hard work. It requires lots of careful planning, precise execution, and a lot of skill. Failure means ending up in jail, or getting killed. It's stressful, difficult, and dangerous.

I imagine bank robbers get a thrill out of their activities, not to mention a hefty sum of cash if they're succesful. After all they have to do, don't they deserve the rewards of their labors?

Nope. They're criminals. Some things are wrong, no matter how much effort goes into them.

To bring up the schadenfreude argument again, I'd say this is a decent example. The times when I've griefed, I don't think "I deserve to destroy this, how dare they try to stop me".

Watch the show "Masterminds". Those criminals deserve the reward.
