What kind of toaster weapon would it be if it just shot out toast? obviously youd drop it in the water to instantly kill everything.

I think that returning the rifle to the old pin-point accuracy and stepping it down to a semi-auto (after all, have you found a useful purpose for the full-auto firing capabilities? I didn't think so) would totally negate the need for a bolt-action or other sniper rifle.

What I really want is a mounted machine gun.

I like the melee pick and shovel idea as well,but i still want a cloaking device
the bolt action seems nice too but if i had to chose,i'd use the shotgun

If a shotgun does end up being implemented, it better be a secondary weapon. Otherwise, you're going to be pretty darn helpless during the...oh...majority of the game. Ninety percent of the time, combat takes place at ranges of more than 20 feet.

Then again, if you had an option to choose either buckshot or slug ammunition (press "." to choose your weapon, after you have chosen, you will then be able to choose buckshot or slugs), its usefulness and effectiveness would be doubled.

At first I said a sniper rifle, but now thinking about it I would like to see a sidearm. I lately have been seeing that I run out of ammo in combat, so a sidearm as a back up would be useful.
